100,000th BMW GS Rolls Off Assembly Line
BMW's ready-for-anything GS model is officially the most successful Beemer of all time, with 84,373 classic GSs and 15,627 Adventure variants having been produced by the Munich-based manufacturer as of July 27, 2007.
The GS furthered its cult reputation after Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman were snubbed by KTM for their 'round the world documentary, Long Way Round, and chose to make the journey on R1150GSs instead.
They've gone with souped up BMW R1200GS Adventures for their latest longitudinal global circumnavigation doc entitled Long Way Down, and their choice will probably help BMW sell even more of their famously rugged rides

HELP!
I've been contacted by a customer in Lancaster who's looking for assistance in getting out and about on his bike! He's a disabled gentleman who has his own bike and sidecar outfit. He's no longer able to ride himself so is looking for an appropriate person to pilot his outfit for the odd day out! If you think you can help, please let me know and I'll put you in touch!
